On the 6th October 2017 a workshop about Ecoengineering in Mediterranean Area will take place in Rome (Italy) at the Institute Galileo Galilei, via Conte Verde, 51. The event is supported by several Institutions, Universities and Governmental Organizations. Relators are professors, engineers, architects, agronomists, geologists and other experts and they come from different part of Italy so it is possible to have several points of view about the Mediterranean Area. A closer liaison between all the different disciplines in Ecoengineering is needed because there is a wealth of experience which is contained in separate cells which need to be shared. The workshop’s goal is to have a general view on slope, fluvial and coastal scenario and to analyse the abandonment and the recovery of some areas. It is also considered the important contribute of new techniques and new products and the reinforcement of preexisting structures. The workshop is promoted by Jemmbuild, which is an ECOMED partner, to contribute to create a network where all the experts could cooperate together for a common purpose.
